I usually paint abstract patterns on driftwood, but during lockdown I couldn’t get to the coast, so I turned to my laptop to make a piece of digital art that encapsulated a lot of what had been going on in the UK during the pandemic. I wanted to make it political but not judgmental.

Prior to the Coronavirus pandemic I painted abstract patterns on driftwood, exhibiting and selling internationally. When the UK went into lockdown in March 2020 I decided to document the unusual cultural and political events in a piece of digital art.
