Sue Burley, Prevail

“Prevail” is a Cyanotype on fabric. It is 10cm x10cm approx. The edges have been left unfinished and it is unframed. This reflects the uncertainty as to when the lock down situation will finish. Unable to visit my studio I used plants from my garden and sunlight to develop a Cyanotype image to show how nature carries on and we will prevail in our fight against COVID-19. The lockdown has forced me to use materials to hand and has inspired me to create work that reflects the issues we are all facing.
