Giulia Mangoni is an Italian-Brazilian artist who creates site-specific interventions through the lens of painting in order to destabilize modes of linear narration in favour of more complex and fluid systems of information delivery.

Her textile works combine traditional and experimental techniques. Her ‘cushion creatures’ use oil and acrylic paints on canvas, embroidery, ceramic, spun silk and felt.
